Kayla Gaines, also known as Free, is a Baltimore-based movement instructor specializing in yoga, Pilates, and stretch therapy. She discovered yoga in 2017 and began teaching in 2021, turning her passion for movement into a way to help others feel stronger, more mobile, and more at ease in their bodies. Working many years in the restaurant industry, Kayla understands firsthand the physical toll of long hours and repetitive movement. What started as a personal practice to relieve tension and discomfort evolved into a deeper mission: helping others overcome everyday aches—from tight shoulders to lower back pain—through intentional movement. Kayla is a 250-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT), a 500-hour Fully Comprehensive Pilates instructor, and a certified stretch practitioner. Her approach blends strength, flexibility, and mindful movement, often incorporating hands-on assistance to help clients move more efficiently and safely. Whether you’re looking to build strength, improve mobility, or simply unwind, Kayla creates an inclusive, supportive space for all levels.
